Comprised of a Bugaboo base unit and a Bugaboo carry cot, the versatile Cameleon offers multiple stroller options for parents who want it all. A unique 3–in–1 design adapts to car seats, reversible carry cot and reversible seat, so you always have the right stroller with you. The base unit can be used alone as a buggy, or topped with the carry cot to create a pram. The carry cot can also be used seperately. Modular The Bugaboo Cameleon Seat unit can be either rear ward facing or forward facing in one simple click. It gives you the choice of watching baby, or baby watching the world. Buttons which allow you to make adjustments on the Cameleon are in a light grey colour, making them easy to find. From infant toddler, to the city, the beach and the woods, the Bugaboo Cameleon lets you take the road less travelled. Comfort The seat unit offers your baby maximum comfort. The seat can adjust to 3 different positions to suit your child. Your child has the option of sitting up straight when awake, reclining when relaxed, or in full lie flat mode when taking a nap. The seat also features a 5-point safety harness to keep your baby safe and secure and also a removable bumper bar. The seat fabric is comfortable, durable and machine washable. The fabrics withstand machine washes as often as your child makes messes! The pushchair has an adjustable telescopic handle bar, making it great for taller or shorter parents. The handle bar is also soft and comfortable to the touch. The hand brake on the pushchair is so easy and convenient, it is situated just below the stroller handle bar. It is a small leaver which you simply pull out to apply the brake, and simply press the button to release it again….more smart thinking from Bugaboo. We love the cameleons very generous sun canopy / hood, which can be retracted easily. The hood offer excellent shade and coverage for your child. Practicality The cameleon is so easy to fold and very compact in size, making it suitable or most car boots. One thing to keep in mind is that you will need to remove the seat unit before folding the chassis each time. The seat unit removes easily with the click of a button, so this is no trouble at all. The cameleon comes complete with a raincover which fits securely around the buggy, stopping your child from getting wet. It folds and stores in the underseat bag so you're always ready for a rainy day. Manoueverability The cameleon has two small front wheel and two large foam filled rear wheels. One of the best and most innovative features on the chameleon is that you are able to reverse the handle bar, which will allow you to automatically change from the small wheels being at the front, to now having the large 12inch wheels at the front. Switching in this way gives you maximum manoeuvrability when going over different types of terrain. Having the large wheel facing forward means mastering hiking trails, gravel paths and other rougher roads with ease. Having the small swivel wheels facing forward means manoeuvring 360degrees with the touch of one hand. The in-built suspension ensures a smooth ride for children up to 37.5lbs.
